The organizing comity of the Olympic games in 2008 offers us a view on the athletic facilities. With pictures and drawings we get a first impression how things will look within two years.   The Laoshan Velodrome.  Beijing Olympic Games National Stadium (also called "Bird Nest"). The opening ceremony will be performed here. Also athletics and football. wowo... ... so many great buildings ... I like the last pic most. the swimming pool left side is so interesting design. the bird nest also really cool... they are like ice and fire... well...dont know if it's good in Feng Shui though...Are u planing to go beijing for 2008 Olympic? |

| The bird nest is really impressive... I saw the building for the last in July... and it's huge... they were already assembling the white things you can see on the pic... Sure I plan to go for the Olympics... even just for the atmosphere in the city, guess it will be something to tell the grandchildren  ... and it's not that far  ... |

hehe... my meaning was that beijing is not that far , so no problems to go there for the Olympics... about the grandchildren... there is a Dutch expression I translated in English about telling a story to grandchildren... sure I will also tell my children  |
